Tree planting by the blinds (24. 4. 2010)

Festive planting of the trees in its second year by the blinds took place on the Earth date (24.4.). The whole occasion was under the auspices of National counsel of the disabled in the Czech Republic and its vice chairman Otmar Cvrkal had been present. As special guests came mayor of Kunstat Mr. Göpfert, vice-mayor of Blansko Mr. Toufar, Mother superioress of the congregation of Tešitelky Božského srdce Ježíšova from Rajhrad and doc. Vaclav Šplýchal. However, the main actors had been eyesight inflicted from regional affiliate SONS in Blansko, auditory inflicted from the union of deaf in Brno, mentally affected from Paprsek (The Ray) in Velké Opatovice and from the Home in Chateau in Bystré, citizens from Kunstat and surroundings. All had been planting with a great enthusiasm and joy. The trees had been chosen in cooperation with Dr. Stanislav Boček from the Tingle agricultural faculty. They are old traditional species. Mr. Lewis Kundera, poet, translator and artist from Kunštat planted his tree with a small delay. There had been planted a tree for native from Kunštat, living in France, Mr. J. Řehůřek.

An old fly pulled by decorated horses had been great attraction in afternoon. The program also included Vladimíra , a student from JAMU, who demonstrated fairy tale in sign language, large wind orchestra ZUS Letovice played during the planting and in the end amateur actors from Kunštát presented panegyric song about Kunstat written for this occasion.

Whole afternoon we had beautiful weather.
